An alleged sex maniac who desperately wanted to teach a lesbian woman how it feels to have sex with a man, paid the ultimate price when the victim retaliated and stabbed him to death.
The chilling incident that left the village in deep shock happened at Lwamondo Khumbe. W/O Vuledzani Dathi, spokesperson of the Vhembe SAPS, confirmed the incident. "The police in Vuwani are investigating a murder case after a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death in the early hours of Sunday, 20 July, at Lwamondo Khumbe outside Vuwani. Allegations are that the deceased was together with the suspect drinking alcohol at the suspect's place of residence at Khumbe," he said.
Dathi said that the deceased, who was later identified as Shonisani Mahwasane, allegedly demanded to have sex with the suspect, who informed him that she was a lesbian. "At knife point he demanded sex, saying he wanted the suspect to experience how it feels to have sex with a man," Dathi said.
Dathi further indicated that the deceased then forced himself on the suspect, threatening her with a knife and started to rape her. It was during the sex session that the suspect managed to take the knife from the man and stabbed him multiple times.
The suspect, Dakalo Avheani Mulaudzi (18), was arrested and appeared in the Thohoyandou Magistrate's Court on Monday, 21 July. She was charged with murder, and her case was postponed to Friday 25 July for further investigations. She remains in police custody.
