Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect following a murder reported in Phadzima Dzumbathoho village. The incident occurred on 30 March, but the victim succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, 7 April.
According to Vhulaudzi police, officers were informed on Tuesday morning that a 26-year-old man, Manngo Ndaedzo, had died at Siloam Hospital.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased had been assaulted on 30 March by a known suspect, who allegedly used a sharp object during the attack. The victim sustained serious injuries and was admitted to hospital, where he received medical treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have since opened a murder case, and the suspect remains at large.
