Venda Football Club (VFC) will look to build on their away point against Cape Town City when they host Gomora United in a Motsepe Foundation Championship clash at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
VFC opened their campaign with a goalless draw at the Athlone Stadium last weekend. Gomora, meanwhile, began the season strongly with a 1-0 win over Leicesterfield City.
VFC strengthened their squad in the off-season with several experienced players and will rely on a solid defence, marshalled by Tshovelo Mathebula, Nhlanhla Makhubele and Kazeem Saheed, to keep Gomora's strikers at bay.
