Mpho Beatrix Makosholo, better known as "Zazi," is a passionate and ambitious woman who endeavours to make a difference in her community. Radio is one of the things she loves with all her heart, and she uses this platform to fulfil her mission. She is the new host for Thohoyandou FM's "Afternoon Drive Show", which airs from 15:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, and she also presents the "Heart and Soul" show every Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00.

The 30-year-old presenter, born in Makwarela, started her radio career at Univen Radio at the tender age of 14. To cement her love of radio, after matriculating from Mphaphuli High in 2012, she enrolled in a media studies course at Boston Campus College, from which she graduated in 2015. After graduating, she gained experience at Kingdom FM and Vuwani FM.

"Radio has been such a big part of my life, and my shows are very popular. I have established a strong relationship with my listeners, to the extent that wherever I go off air, they still follow me. As a radio presenter, I see myself deepening my connection with our community through my shows. I will be conducting engaging interviews, facilitating thought-provoking discussions, and delivering the perfect playlist to our listeners. These shows serve as a platform for important conversations, a source of entertainment, and a unifying force in our community," she said.

Zazi is also a businesswoman and the founder of Zazi's Foundation, dedicated to helping needy children. "I envision continuing to expand my scope of work. We will soon be launching new educational initiatives, mentorship programmes - especially for children interested in media - and scholarships to empower the next generation," she said.

"In the near future, I aspire to be even more deeply entrenched in my mission to make a positive impact on the lives of children, promote sustainability through my business, and foster a sense of togetherness and connection as a radio presenter. My journey is one of continuous growth, innovation, and dedication to serving the community that I hold dear," Zazi said.
