Emerging artist Mickeyblack is set to release her latest single, Zwalufuno, on 27 March, featuring Vule C4 and Paris Miller.
The track explores the complexities of love, highlighting both its beauty and its challenges. It reflects the realities of relationships, where emotional fulfilment often exists alongside vulnerability and pain, presenting love as both rewarding and testing.
The collaboration brings together a mix of creativity and ambition, with the three artists contributing to a sound aimed at a broad audience. Their approach reflects a shared commitment to growth and storytelling through music.
Mickeyblack said the song was inspired by a desire to address real-life emotional experiences. “I wanted to discuss daily issues and struggles of falling in love. It is a beautiful thing but can be hurtful at the same time,” she said.
She also pointed to the broader context of the Limpopo music industry, saying its growth depends on collective effort from both artists and supporters.
“Music in Limpopo has a chance, but it will take collective action to make it a sustainable business for both artists and fans. It is like a love affair, both parties must come to play,” she said.
