The future of Dynamos as an affiliate of the National First Division of the Premier Soccer League is hanging in the balance. This follows a string of poor results in the last five matches.
Their most recent result was a 1-2 defeat at the hands of United FC last Saturday. It was evident from the start that the visitors from Giyani were going to give away vital points, judging from the manner in which they approached the game.
United did not take long to open their account through James Skhosana. He dribbled past three Dynamos defenders in a row, before unleashing a volley from inside the box. They increased the margin towards the end of the first half through Freddy Seagole.
Dynamos' solitary goal came late in the game, but it was not enough stop the hosts from grabbing the full points.
Things did not go according to plan in the camp of the University of Pretoria. Their fans could not believe their eyes when the referee blew the final whistle in their match against Carara Kicks at the Charles Mopedi Stadium. Carara scored an early goal and managed to maintain their leadership up to the bitter end, much to the disappointment of the Amatuks fans.
