She took home a laptop computer, a double-door fridge and two hampers from MTN and Coca-Cola Fortune. She also won a free computer course, a trip for two by Translux Bus Service to any destination and a weekend for two in Port Elizabeth.
The first princess, Fhulufhelo Ligege (18), of Duthuni Village was given a Coca-Cola hamper and an MTN hamper, computer and a fridge. She also won a Translux trip to any destination. Ligege is pursuing her studies through the Tswane University of Technology where she is doing a degree in auditing.
The title for 2nd princess was won by Phrisky Tshikalanga (19) of Shayandima. Phrisky is a Grade 12 pupil at the Wisdom Combined School. She won the Miss Tusk Beauty contest and the Miss Venda Plaza title last year.
Fifteen girls paraded for the Miss Black Leopards competition last Friday.
The newly crowned Black Leopards beauty queen will represent the club during the Miss Premier Soccer League beauty contest that will be staged in Johannesburg later this year. Aluwani Ramawa was the winner of the 2003 Miss Black Leopards title.
The contest was sponsored by Translux Bus Company, Enos Bus Service, MTN, Vevisa Lodge, Brenner Milling Company, Coca-Cola Fortune, Joe Hair Salon and DSTV. The people were entertained by Colbert Mukwevho and his partner in business, Khakhathi and Friends.
