In March 2024, popular manyalo and house musician Mashudu Munyai stunned her fans by dancing semi-naked to a packed crowd in Thohoyandou. She vowed to continue her bold performances as long as they put food on the table.

Affectionately known as Mrofha Cha Muimbi by her dedicated fans, she is back in the spotlight and has become the talk of the town after releasing her latest single, Makwapheni, in March 2024.

For this new project, Mrofha teamed up with the evergreen pop sensation Mukosi and Mevonator. The single was recorded at Kanana Music in Miluwani by renowned studio owner and producer Mevonator.

About the new release, the 23-year-old singer and dancer from Tshitanini Tshififi outside Thohoyandou said it was one of the best things to have happened in her music career.

"I have never been this appreciated since I started singing. Since its release, the single has attracted so much attention, and I have received countless congratulatory messages from fans for releasing such an enlightening song. This has boosted my morale and is a testament that I am doing something right. It has propelled me to work even faster in compiling material for my forthcoming album," she said.

Makwapheni is essentially advice to those engaged in extramarital relationships, urging them to "know their place," Mrofha explained.

She added that, over time, she had observed many relationships and marriages collapsing from outside relationships. "I have seen how the side chicks do whatever they can to woo a man, well knowing that he is married," she said. "The same applies to men who fall for women they know are married. This is one of the sources of conflict that sometimes ends in breakups or, unfortunately, unnecessary killings. This should come to an end, and the side chicks should know their place."

Mrofha's musical journey began in 2018 as a backup singer for her mother, Jah Lady Ndivho. Her beautiful voice soon attracted attention, and her mother encouraged her to record her own album.

She has since released four albums: Vhafumakadzi, Lufu Lwanga Lusongo Vha Bindu la Vhathu, Tshiseo Nga Nngwa, and Bruwari, the latter a collaboration with well-known singer Mukosi.
