Damani Powerlines will not take part in the next stage of the NJ Munyamela Soccer Challenge. They were booted out 2-1 by Muhuyu XI Experience at the Muhuyu grounds on Saturday.

XI Experience deserved to win, but their strikers let them down by shooting aimlessly from close range. The keeper of Experience, Aifheli Sikhomo, was reprimanded with a card for handling the ball outside the penalty box in the 14th minute. Although no goal was scored during the first half, there were a lot of attempts by the strikers of Experience.

Experience continued with their dominance in the last half. Their opening goal came in the 54th minute. Ndivhuwo Nengovhela finished off a rebound with a header after Muano Nephawe's long-range attempt.

Powerline effected the first change to their starting lineup in the 64th minute. They introduced Livhuwani Ramagwede for Ndivhuwo Sieda as part of their many ways to match their opponents.

The replacement proved to be a clever move on the part of the Powerline technical sfaff. They found the equalizer three minutes after the replacement. Ndivhuwo Mudau of Experience was booked for a continued argument with the referee. Damani Powerline were reduced to 10 men after Tamani Tshiviela saw red for a late tackle on Robert Phalanndwa.

Powerlines then replaced Solly Mutangwa with Muandanyi Netshidzivhani. That did not stop XI Experience from scoring the winner in the 78th minute. Mafhungo Nemavhola was on target with a header after a scramble within the box. A player of Powerline, Livhuwani Ramagwede, was also given his marching orders late in the game. He tackled Ipfi Ramaliba from behind.
