Defending Tshifudi Musangwe (bare-knuckle fistfighting) champion Tshinandala Mukundamago (28) made good on his promise, successfully defending his title this past weekend.
The third leg of the official Musangwe championships took place at Makonde Stadium on Saturday. The event was spiced up by the presence of seasoned fighters such as Senior, Khakhathi, Ninja, Uzzi, Master Jnr, Tshibenzu, and Dollar.
As expected, the main attraction was the fight between reigning champion Mukundamago and Malala. The clash lasted less than five minutes.
"This was one of the easiest fights I've fought. The guy was no match for me, and I didn't waste time flooring him. I think the rigorous training I underwent before the fight made the difference. I outsmarted him in all areas. Winning this fight has boosted my morale, and I'm ready for any challenger at any time," Mukundamago said.
He thanked the organisers for giving him the opportunity to showcase his skills. "I have proven beyond doubt that I am no small boy. It's up to promoters and sponsors to make use of me—I'm available," he said.
