The Muremela and Masedi soccer tournament reaches its climax this weekend, with the quarter-finals and final scheduled to take place at Makhitha on Saturday and Sunday.
In the previous weekend's encounters, Zamenkomste FC delivered a crushing 7-1 defeat to Muduluni Rising Stars, while Maebane Zebras proved too strong for Midoroni Real, beating them 4-1. Muraleni will not easily forget last Sunday, when they were thrashed 4-1 by Luvhalani Sun Shine Pirates.
Madodonga United edged past Madombidzha Congo 4-3 in a penalty shootout after the teams drew 1-1 in regular time. Hamula FC were knocked out by Madombidzha Arsenal, who won 5-2. Makhitha Oscar Stars beat Macnos 5-4 on penalties, while Makhitha Iyarunga were beaten 3-1 by Tshisole FC. Legendary FC dominated Midoroni United with a resounding 33-1 victory.

The semi-finals and final will be played on Sunday.
The champions will walk away with R10,000 in cash, a full soccer kit, a trophy and gold medals. The runners-up will receive R6,000, silver medals and a kit. The teams finishing in third and fourth place will each get R2,000 and a soccer ball.
