Well-known journalist and current affairs presenter at Phalaphala FM Thambatshira Ndadza recently published his third motivational Tshivenda book, titled Dambuwo Li Si Na Muratho, which deals with life after matric and the challenges that young students encounter as they start experiencing independent life at tertiary institutions.

"There are different kinds of problems that almost every new student faces, but many shy away from talking about them. The book focuses on the dangers of misused freedom, lack of self-control, not knowing what you want, and many others," he said.

Ndadza is a resident of Matsika village in the Malavuwe area. He remembers growing up with a passion for writing and a dream to become a best-selling author one day. He never gave up on this dream; he kept reading and writing and sharing his work with other authors, who read and appreciated it.

This talented author is big on enlightening people about life. He believes that young people must voice their challenges. He practises this view whenever he visits local schools to encourage matriculants to maintain the momentum and stay focused.

"It is important to use our skills to teach young people, because that is the foundation for our future. Mine is an inborn talent, but my success is coupled with hard work, determination, and a positive attitude. I also want to prove the fact that success does not depend on whether one comes from a disadvantaged rural area, like mine, but on one's ability to use what available resources one has," he said.

His first book, Mahovhohovho A Vhutshilo, was published in 2001, followed by Love, Marriage & Blunders, published in 2021.

He said he always tried to make his work as accessible as possible. "Writing is the language of the heart shared with the world. It fulfils me to be able to share my thoughts with so many people at once," he said.
