Eighteen-year-old aspiring model Ndivhuwo Mukumela from Mpheni Block A is determined to snatch the prestigious Miss Elegance Limpopo title. The highly anticipated crowning ceremony is scheduled to take place at Polokwane Library Gardens on 30 September this year.
Having been selected as one of the 14 finalists last month, Ndivhuwo is ready to showcase her unique style and personality on the pageant stage. When speaking to this newspaper, she was very confident about winning the title. "I am eagerly awaiting the moment I will be crowned. I am so excited about the potential to create a positive change in the lives of others during my reign as Miss Elegance Limpopo," she said.
With titles such as Miss Gateway First Princess, Miss Elim, and Miss Face of Makhado under her belt, Ndivhuwo has always possessed a passion for fashion, beauty, and self-expression. From a young age she has dreamt of participating in beauty pageants and utilising this platform to make a positive impact within her community, and this is exactly what she intends to do if she wins the Miss Elegance Limpopo title.
She says that winning this esteemed title would not only be a personal achievement for her but also present new opportunities in the world of modelling. She firmly believes that being Miss Elegance Limpopo encompasses more than just wearing a crown and looking beautiful. "With determination and a resilient spirit, I am ready to work hard, overcome any obstacle, and leave an indelible mark in the modelling industry," she said.
Ndivhuwo's goal is to assist the less fortunate, promote education, empower her peers, raise awareness about social issues affecting her community, and being a voice for the voiceless. "My journey has been challenging, but my ultimate aspiration is to become a positive influence on others and eventually attain the title of Miss South Africa."
