Hosi Elias Rikhotso, a local traditional leader, singer and music producer from Njakanjaka, is quickly becoming a recognised name in Xitsonga music circles. His third single, Ndzi Humile ka X, released last month, was an instant hit and continues to grow in popularity.

Rikhotso is celebrated for his soulful voice and fresh sound that blends traditional Tsonga music with themes of resilience, triumph and personal growth. "As I took that step, I realised the calling I had, and I understood well that I had to keep working hard to reach the level I am at now. I keep in mind that I am African and always want to sound African in my music. My music has a soulful, Tsonga sound to it," he said.

Fans have praised the track for its emotional depth and meaningful lyrics. Rikhotso said he prefered message-driven music over trends. "I have often been asked why I do not switch to amapiano. To me, it is more important to convey messages than just produce dance music. I strongly believe that reggae is the mother of all music genres. I stick to the roots, not the leaves," he said.

He described Ndzi Humile ka X as his best release yet and thanked fans for their support. "As artists, we have the duty to educate and entertain the community," he added.
