In their MMK Administrators League match at the Tshakhuma New Jerusalem grounds on Saturday, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila beat Tshakhuma RO United 2-0.
The keeper of Madzivhandila, Nnditsheni Sigaba, denied United two sure goals within the first 15 minutes. In the first instance, United's slender left winger, Takalani Ratshilima, beat the offside trap and unleashed a half volley from the edge of the box in the eighth minute.
Sigaba palmed the ball away for a corner kick. As if that was not good enough to impress the team's fans, Sigaba was in the thick of things three minutes later. This time he found himself in a one-on-one situation with United's killer striker, Lufuno "CJ" Mugodi. Sigaba advanced out of the penalty box and blocked Mugodi's way, much to the disappointment of the United fans.
The coach of Madzivhandila, Mr Lucky "Mchichwa" Nelukau, revealed his wisdom when he replaced Terrence Mabunda with the dribbling wizard Forster Nkuna in the 24th minute. It took Nkuna only five minutes to prove his worth. He went loose from the left corner and beat the keeper with a volley.
Rendani Mukomafhedzi of United went into the referee's book after tackling Fhumulani Mutshinya the rough way. United introduced Ipfi Muthubi for Rinae Madzhuta four minutes into the last half.
Dakalo Mudau, the Madzivhandila captain, found himself on the wrong side of the law when he tackled Takalani Ratshilima from behind in the 67th minute. He escaped with a yellow card. Madzivahndila were awarded a free kick in the 78th minute. Fhatuwani Mudau beat the keeper with a volley from the set piece and sealed the game.
