Tshivhazwaulu Peace Makers beat Shayandima Dynamos 1-0 in their opening MMK Administrators League match at the Tshivhazwaulu grounds on Saturday.

Although no goal was scored in the first half, both sides created and wasted numerous scoring chances. Peace Makers' right winger, Fhatuwani Mathivha, was unfortunate on countless occasions. In the 8th minute he received a beautiful pass from Ronewa Rabumbulu in the 25-metre area and ran straight towards the keeper before unleashing a half volley just outside the box. The ball hit the woodwork and bounced outside the field of play for a goal kick.

Brian Seotho of Dynamos was warned with a card following a continued argument with the referee, Mr Mulalo Mubva. Realizing that chances were good for Seotho to see red, the team's technical staff decided to replace him with Fhulufhelo Mudau towards the end of the first half.

Fhatuwani Mathivha of Peace Makers was unfortunate again five minutes into the last half. He went loose from the right corner and tried his luck from the edge of the box with a half volley. He suffered the pain of watching the ball missing the target by inches.

The goal that earned the three points for the Tshivhazwaulu team came in the 84th minute. Takalani Mamavhin headed home after a corner kick.
