Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC (TTM) may have lost three league matches in succession, but the chairman of the club, Mr Masala Mulaudzi, says fans have no reason to press the panic button. His utterances came after his team was beaten 0-3 by Hungry Lions at the Sivos Training Centre in Kimberley on Sunday afternoon.
Vhadau Vha Damani, as they are widely known, started the season on a high note. At some stage they were shinning on top of the log standings. They lost 0-1 to Black Leopards at the Thohoyandou Stadium before suffering a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane before last Sunday's trip to Kimberley.
TTM are now lying in the seventh position, following their poor results in the last three matches. Last Sunday's loss at the hands of Hungry Lions brings the total number of their defeats to four this season. Mulaudzi said that no one to blame within the club was to blame for the three defeats. He reckoned that his team had played well in their game against Black Leopards.
According to him, Black Leopards were lucky to find a goal towards the end of the game. He said that Polokwane City were also lucky to score the winning goal in the referee's optional time. He blamed the defeat against Hungry Lions on poor refereeing. According to him, the match officials were against them from the start to the end.
Mulaudzi said that anything was still possible, considering the fact that they had played only nine matches to date. TTM's next fixture will be against JDR Stars at the Soshanguve Giant Stadium outside Pretoria on Friday afternoon.
