Not only did Sidou Peace Makers deposit six league points into their league account last weekend, but they scored 10 goals as well.

They brutally crushed Makhuvha Fire Boys 6-1 in their Thumalemela LFA League match at the Sidou grounds on Saturday and then walloped Mukoma Young Stars 4-1 at the same venue the following day.

On Sunday, Young Stars were the first to find the net in the 14th minute. Their captain, Riafhela Makungo, finished off a rebound, following scramble within the box. There were shouts of "ladies first" after the Stars' solitary goal. It took Peace Makers 29 minutes to find the equalizer. They were awarded a free kick just outside the box after Enos Khorommbi was brought down. Mukovhe Mudzikiti scored from the set piece to bring the half-time score to 1-1.

Khathutshelo Mmbengwa was brought down within the box four minutes into the last half and it was a clear penalty for Peace Makers. Wanga Khorommbi converted from the white spot.

Peace Makers continued to fight collectively, with their strikers demonstrating self-confidence through their dribbling skills. Aubrey Ndou was brought down within the box, prompting the referee to award another penalty to Peace Makers. Wanga Khorommbi made no mistake and completed his brace.

Young Stars started to display their rough skills soon afterwards. The referee normalized the situation by giving two Stars' players, Mulalo Masindi and Tshanduko Munyai, their marching orders for dangerous tackles. Mukovhe Mudzikiti of Peace Makers was booked for ignoring the referee's whistle. He kicked the ball away long after the referee had blown the whistle.

Wanga Khorommbi scored the fourth with a ground cutter late in the game.
