Malachia Tshidino, better known as "Oh Stino", has finally released his long-awaited Venrap single, Vhosinyuwa.
Hailing from Mulodi village in the Thengwe area, Oh Stino has spent years trying to get his music recorded. Despite the challenges, he believes this track marks a turning point in his career.
The song is a collaboration with fellow artist Mike Tuney, which Oh Stino describes as a powerful creative partnership. "This collaboration is expanding my work in a new direction. We grew up together and formed a strong bond that now drives our shared musical journey," he said.
Oh Stino's love for music began at an early age. He often stood out at school events, where his singing inspired peers. However, his path has not been easy. "When I started singing in 2009, I didn't have the money to record in a studio. It was frustrating and set me back a lot," he said.
At times, he nearly gave up, but positive thinking kept him going. "There were moments I thought my career was over, but I kept pushing," he said.
Vhosinyuwa aims not only to entertain but also to inspire. "This song is about not giving up, no matter the challenges," he said. The track has quickly gained popularity, becoming an anthem among fans and energising live performances. "Its energy is electric. People sing every word—it's powerful."
The song, which tells the story of a man mourning a lost relationship, has resonated with listeners for its emotional depth and relatable themes of love, heartbreak and healing.
