After a break of about three months, it will be business as usual for the affiliates of the National First Division this weekend. Residents of Vhembe District cannot wait to see their local team, Black Leopards, play at their traditional home ground, Thohoyandou Stadium.

Lidoda Duvha will battle it out for league points against Lamontville Golden Arrows at 15:00.

According to the spokesperson of Black Leopards, Mr Berry Ramunenyiwa, Arrows will be lucky if, by chance, they manage to go back to Durban with a point in hand. Apart from their former right flank and team captain, Mongezi Bobe, who Mr Ramunenyiwa said was already in their asset register, Leopards were in the final stages of securing signatures from two top strikers at the time of going to press.

The two strikers will replace the team's top goal scorers of last season, David Zulu and Rendani Ndou, who migrated to Chippa United and Polokwane City respectively last month. Ramunenyiwa dismissed the rumour that their demon midfielder, Edgar Manaka, has left the team, saying the young man was still the club's property.

Tickets for the match are available at Computicket and no ticket will be sold at the stadium.

FC Cape Town will host Santos in their Cape Town derby at the NNK Rugby Stadium. Thanda Royal Zulu will entertain Witbank Spurs at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay. Maluti FET College will lock horns with Vasco da Gama and the newly promoted Highlandspark will play against Jomo Cosmos at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa. Milano United and African Warriros will meet at the Philipi Stadium in Cape Town, Royal Eagles will play against Baroka while Cape Town All Stars will test their strength against Garankuwa United.
