Bilika All Stars and A1 Terrors will be campaigning in the higher division next season, after finishing the promotional play-offs in the top two positions. Bilika All Stars collected 10 points, while Terrors deposited seven into their account.

The SAB league promotional play-offs took place at the Giyani Stadium over the past weekend. The host team, Bilika All Stars, collected full points in their first three matches and shared the spoils in their last fixture.

They beat Boyne Young Tigers 2-0 in the opening match on Saturday. Their second match was against Sekhukhune Arsenal, whom they brutally crushed 5-0. They beat A1 Terrors from the Waterberg District 4-2 the following day. Their final match was against Mukula Young Santos, with whom they played to a 3-3 draw.

Bilika All Stars is the only team that did not lose a match in the weekend event. Two teams, Mukula Young Santos and Sekhukhune Arsenal, did not win any of the four matches they played.

Mukula Young Santos, on whom the Vhembe Regional Association had pinned their hopes, played to a draw on three occasions and lost one. They drew 2-2 with A1 Terrors in their opening match and lost 0-2 to Boyne Young Tigers later on Saturday. Mukula Young Santos disappointed the fans by sharing the spoils with Sekhukhune Arsenal in their third match on Sunday morning. They played to a 2-2 draw. Their last match was against Bilika All Stars, with whom they played to a 3-3 draw.

Sekhukhune Arsenal managed to deposit only one point into their account in the tournament. They conceded 10 goals in their first two matches. Arsenal lost 0-5 to Bilika All Stars in their first match and were crushed 1-5 by A1 Terrors in their second match. Their only point was gained from a 2-2 draw against Mukula Young Santos.
