The queen of dance, Makhadzi, has returned to the stage following a lengthy recovery period after an accident on 31 December last year.
The Limpopo-born star had taken time off from performing to focus on her recovery, leaving fans without her trademark high-energy dance performances. The hiatus raised concern among supporters, particularly given the physically demanding nature of her live shows.
In a press release, Makhadzi said her doctors had cleared her to resume touring and performing live. She added that her recovery had gone well and that she was now ready to make up for the time lost away from the stage.
Makhadzi expressed gratitude to her supporters, thanking her fans, parents, and the wider public for being patient, keeping her in their prayers, and walking the healing journey with her. Already, she has lined up a series of performances, with promotional posters for upcoming shows in circulation.
One of the most anticipated bookings will be close to home, where she is scheduled to perform on 3 March at Highway Pub in Madombidzha.
