The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety has confirmed that the R524 between Louis Trichardt and Levubu has been reopened after it was temporarily closed due to a head-on collision on Monday evening.
The incident, which occurred near the Lutanandwa Bridge, involved a minibus taxi and a light delivery vehicle, prompting authorities to shut down the road while emergency services attended to the scene.
In an update issued, the department confirmed that the road has since been cleared and that traffic is now flowing normally.
Motorists are, however, urged to exercise extreme caution and adhere strictly to all traffic regulations when travelling through the area.
The department has not yet released further details regarding injuries or fatalities linked to the crash.
