As the Sasol Women's League programme gradually winds down, teams are gearing up for another action-packed weekend.
Tshandama Grounds in the Mutale area will be the place to be on Saturday afternoon, when Tshandama Young Stars host Lacoste Morning Stars. Although playing on home soil, Young Stars face a tough challenge against Morning Stars.
Morning Stars are among the leading contenders for the league title. They climbed to second on the log, following last Sunday's 3–0 victory over Univen Ladies at Shayandima School Grounds.
Young Stars, meanwhile, are fighting for survival. They sit second from bottom with six points from nine matches. Containing Morning Stars' attacking duo, Mulalo Mufanadzo and Zwavhudi Manavhela, will be no easy task for the Young Stars' defence.
Log leaders Sinthumulekutama FC will face Univen FC at Sinthumule High School Grounds. Sinthumulekutama dropped points last Saturday, drawing 1–1 with Sisters FC at Nwamitwa Grounds outside Tzaneen.
Rodadau FC will host Sisters FC at Tshitungulwane Grounds. Rodadau's promotion hopes were dented last Saturday when they were held to a 1–1 draw by Real Mighty Ladies at Xikukwani Grounds.
Real Mighty Ladies will play their second consecutive home fixture when they host Masakona Liberty Experience at Xikukwani Grounds.
