Rabelani Mundalamo from Khubvi, also known as Ranzin, is determined to make it all the way to the top. He recently released his new Amapiano single, Buya, in collaboration with well-known names such as Reneilwe, Fortunator, Racha Kill, and Akeelah.

Mundalamo's love for music was sparked when he met a friend whose older brother was a recording artist. "I developed an interest in Amapiano music and soon began practising singing," he said.

His passion for music continued to grow, and he started listening to legendary musicians such as the late Albert Mundalamo, Kabza De Small, and Calvin Momo. "I perform a variety of genres, but my speciality is Amapiano and VenRap music. My main inspiration is the king of Amapiano, Kabza De Small," he said.

His greatest objective is to entertain his fans and showcase his talent. He describes his music as "therapeutic." "I make people dance. All I want for my fans is for them to have fun," he said.

He explained that his latest project was specifically meant to cheer up his fans and give them more good music to enjoy and dance to. "People who hear this music can't sit still," he said. "The reception I've received since the release of this single has been quite exhilarating. I gained more fans just a day after its release. I hope this single reaches national status," he said.

"The worst experience so far was when I got booked for a gig and was told I would be paid upon arrival, but ended up not getting paid at all. However, things seem to be getting better. I get booked throughout the year, and it helps me sustain myself and my family."

Mundalamo wants to use his platform as a musician to encourage young people to embrace their talents but never underestimate the power of education. "I want to be remembered as the messiah of Venda music and hope to reach a wide audience through my music," he said.
