Reggae musician Todani Innocent Ramukhuba Mathelemusa has come a long way since releasing his first singles as a newcomer to the music industry.
The 27-year-old artist from Hamaila, outside Elim, is better known by his stage name, Ramuza Muimbi. He entered the entertainment scene in 2017 with his debut single Zwido Fhela, featuring popular musician Drizzer. The track became a hit and was played widely at entertainment venues.
In 2022, he released his first album, Mufunwa, a seven-track collection that cemented his place on the local reggae scene.
Now, to prove he is no fly-by-night in the industry, Ramuza has returned with his first reggae EP, Mbilu Yanga. The five-track project, recorded at Y Music Studio in Hamaila, was released in July 2025 and has already been described as "a humdinger" by fans.
Ramuza said he was thrilled by the reception:
"This is my first major release after my 2022 album, and I am excited about the outcomes. I worked day and night polishing this product as I always strive for the best for my fans. The end result is impressive and my fans are loving it," he said.
Ramuza described the new EP as by far the best since he had started his career. "I cannot pinpoint any song as outstanding, but the whole EP is fire. All tracks have relevant messages that deal with our daily lives. As a musician, I make sure that I improve from the previous project, and I can say this is the best."
For the EP, Ramuza collaborated with fellow musicians Yzee, Craze Gee and Proef Vocalist.
