The weekend results for the National First Division League matches brought about a slight change to the log standing. Baroka FC remain on top of the log, despite their goalless draw against Black Leopards at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Black Leopards dropped from the third to the fourth spot.
Witbank Spurs jumped two steps up on the log after beating African Warriors 2-1 at the Puma Rugby Stadium in eMalahleni. Spurs are now in second spot with 13 points, one behind Baroka. Peter Mubayiwa and Cleopas Dube scored for Spurs, while the Warriors' solitary goal came via John Skhosana.
Cape Town All Stars, who had been leading the pack from day one, continued to drop league points. This time around they played to a goalless draw with Santos at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. Santos, or the People's Team as they are also known, are still in the second-last position on the log.
Royal Eagles moved four steps up on the log, following their 3-2 victory over Moroka Swallows. The former Bafana Bafana ace striker, Katlekgo Mphela, scored a brace, while Nkanyiso Cele scored the third for Eagles. Siyabonga Nomvete and David Mngomezulu scored the Swallows goals.
Milano United gave away league points to Thanda Royal Zulu when they lost 1-2 and FC Cape Town beat Vasco da Gama 2-1 in their Cape Town derby at the Parow Park Stadium.
Mthatha Bucks and Amazulu shared the spoils when they played to a 1-1 draw at the Mthatha Stadium, while Mbombela United played to a goalless draw with Highlandspark at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit.
