Police in Louis Trichardt are on the look-out for five suspects who shot and injured a guest staying over at the Lalapanzi Hotel on the N1 south.
According to local police spokesperson Const Irene Radzilane, five armed suspects managed to gain entry into one of the guest units at the hotel. The robbers then shot and injured a male guest in his left thigh before fleeing with his laptop and cellphone.
It is alleged that the suspects cut through the wire fence of the hotel to gain entry. The incident was reported at 03:45.
