In their SAB League match played at the FNB Makwarela Stadium on Saturday, Rockers FC taught Duthuni United Brothers a soccer lesson by crushing them 8-2.

Rockers wasted no time as they took the game to the visitors from the first whistle. Their first two goals were scored within the first fifteen minutes. The team's top goal scorer, Emmanuel Neswiswi, was on target nine minutes into the game. He gave the ball a final touch following a scramble within the danger area of United.

Instead of taking it as a wake-up call, United Brothers continued to commit careless mistakes within their own territory. Rockers increased the margin through Andani Ndou three minutes later. He went loose from the right corner and beat the keeper with a half volley.

The home side were awarded a free kick a short while later just outside the box. Mulisa Tshivhi scored from the set piece to make it 3-0. United Brothers, or better known as Mandalale were awarded a penalty in the 26th minute. This was after a defender of Rockers handled the ball within his own penalty area. Thingahangwi Netshiheni made no mistake from the spot.

Rockers were leading 4-1 at half time. Their fourth goal came in the 39th minute via Mpho Mathivha.

The second half was one-way traffic, with United Brothers chasing the action. Given Tshiwandimoni and Tshifhiwa Ramaphosa scored the fifth and sixth goal in quick succession.

United Brothers scored their second via Rendani Mushiana in the 78th minute. That was an insult to the host as they scored two more goals in the 84th and 86th minute through Emmanuel Neswiswi and Andani Ndou respectively.
