The log leaders in Stream C of the MMK Administrators league, Rockers FC, dropped four league points over the past weekend.

They shared the spoils with Tshambobvu Junior Aces 1-1 at Tshambobvu on Saturday and dropped two more points the following day, when they played to a goalless draw with Mbilwi New Generations at the Makwarela Stadium.

In Sunday's match, Rockers took the game to the visitors from the first whistle, but it was difficult for them to find their way through the defence of Generations. While the keeper of Generations, Zwoluga Mabuda, was the busiest player, his counterpart, Mukovhe Netshaulu, enjoyed an easy afternoon.

Mabuda made his presence felt nine minutes into the game. He braved Mulalo Kudzingana's close range shot and palmed the ball away for a corner kick. Rockers kept on making empty promises afterwards.

Realizing that the home side were all over them, Generations abandoned their positions and packed themselves at the far back in a bid to maintain a clean sheet. Generations effected two changes to their first eleven in the 24th minute. They introduced Thifhelimbilu Vele and Maduvha Bulannga for Thinawang Mapese and Bongani Vele respectively.

Generations showed a bit of commitment after the replacements, but it was only for a few minutes, as their stamina continued to vanish with time.

The reserve keeper of Rockers, Tshimangadzo Matamba, was given his marching orders nine minutes into the last half. He protested the referee's decisions.

In the last 20 minutes, New Generations used delaying tactics until the final whistle blew.
