The boys from Sibasa started the match with a bang, scoring two goals within the first 25 minutes. Emmanuel Neswiswi scored the first goal of his team after a scramble within the box. He was on target again 12 minutes later. Simon Makhado dished a beautiful pass to Neswiswi, who gave the ball the final touch.

Rockers enjoyed their 2-0 lead until the end of the first half. The centre half of Rockers, Patrick Muthivhi, went into the referee's book for obstruction on Ronny Lisoga six minute minutes into the last half. Defenders nearly hit the target in the 47th minute, but Rockers' keeper, Ndivhuwo Musie, palmed Mpho Matumba's volley away for a corner kick.
