After a break of 10 days, the teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women's League will be back in action this weekend. Five matches will be played on Saturday, with only two scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The match that is expected to attract the most spectators will be the Vhembe derby between Rodadau FC and Two For Joy Ladies that will be played at the Tshitungulwane Grounds outside Vuwani on Saturday.
Rodadau and Two For Joy are in a neck-and-neck situation. They are tied on 27 points. Rodadau are leading the pack by virtue of having scored the most goals. Two For Joy have a match in hand. Rodadau are in top form of late. They crushed Merwe United Ladies 6-0 at the Merwe Grounds in the Malamulele area two weeks ago.
Although Two For Joy managed to collect the maximum points in their last three matches, their results are not convincing. Their latest result was a 1-0 victory over Sisters FC at the Tshirenzheni School Grounds a fortnight ago.
Sealene Ladies will test their strength against Tshandama Young Stars at the Lulekani Stadium in Phalaborwa. Young Stars are one of the close contenders for the league championship. They are lying in the fourth position on the log standings with 19 points, 8 behind the pace setters, Rodadau FC.
Masakona Liberty Experience will pay a visit to Real Mighty Girls at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani. Liberty Experience are battling to find a winning combination. They have managed to deposit only one point into their league account to date.
Lacoste Morning Stars will visit Sisters FC at the Bolobedu Grounds outside Tzaneen. Phomolong Ladies will play against Merwe United Ladies at the Lulekani Grounds in Phalaborwa on Sunday. The other fixtures are Marumo Gallants Ladies vs FC 50 Stars United and Mandebele Happy Fighters vs Ramatlaohle Ladies.
