After a break of four weeks, the teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women's League will be back in action this weekend. The match not to be missed will be between Rodadau FC and Lacoste Morning Stars at the Tshitungulwane Grounds outside Vuwani on Saturday afternoon.
Rodadau must collect the maximum points at stake to enhance their chances of winning the league championship. They are currently leading the pack after beating Two For Joy Ladies 1-0 in their last league match that was played at the same venue four weeks ago.
Should they fail to beat Morning Stars, Rodadau will have only themselves to blame. The Stars from Shayandima have been blowing hot and cold since the beginning of this season. Their sharpshooter, Gumani "Mphela" Mulibana, is losing her form over time. Morning Stars' defenders will have the mammoth task of stopping Rodadau's goal poachers in Sello Lethabo and Amanda Pinana.
The other fixture that is expected to attract a huge number of spectators will be between Masakona Liberty Experience and Two For Joy Ladies at the Masakona Grounds. A quick glance at the track record of Liberty Experience shows that beating Two For Joy will be like a camel going through the eye of a needle for Masakona. Liberty Experience are still to win a league match to date. They are lying in the second-last position on the log standings. On the other hand, Two For Joy must win the match to keep their title hopes alive. Two For Joy are closely contesting for the league title with Rodadau.
Real Mighty Girls will host Sealene Ladies at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani. Tshandama Young Stars will visit Merwe United Ladies at the Merwe Grounds in the Malamulele area. Phomolong Ladies will play against Sisters FC at the Lulekani Stadium in Phalaborwa.
