Mabasa stated that they wantedto collect as many points as possible in the first round, so that they do not panic about relegation towards the end of the season.
At the Makwarela Stadium, Basel FC will battle for league points with Lephalale Young Killers. Basel have recently strengthened their technical staff by appointing the team's experienced striker, Jafta Mabosho, as an assistant coach.
Nobela All Stars have reason to believe that they will collect a full compliment of points this weekend. They will rub shoulders with Blue Rocks at the Tshifulanani Stadium. According to Nobela's public relations officer, Mr Mikateko Maluleke, they have a rock-solid squad. He revealed that they had played a number of rehearsal matches during the off season as part of their preparations for the new season.
