Wanga Sadiki, popularly known as Rude Kid Venda or Chidochi, released his latest single and its music video, titled Ngiyasebenza (featuring Crosswave and Mass the Difference) last Friday. The track is from his upcoming debut extended play (EP), L'INIZIO.

Rude Kid Venda, who hails from Mangondi near Thohoyandou, is a renowned Tshivenda musician, songwriter and producer. The 23-year-old rapper is known as the most featured artist in Venda, featuring in the music of the likes of Makhadzi, Mapara A Jazz, Mizo Phyll, Gusba Banana, Fistos Valley and The Capable Boys, to mention but a few. Although he has released several singles, he has never released his own full album, and that is why his fans are so excited about Ngiyasebenza and the rest of the new EP to come.

"L'INIZIO will touch on many sensitive issues, like breaking from poverty, heartbreak, depression, pain, struggles, stress to victory, overcoming, success, royalty, and conquering," he said.

Rude Kid rose to fame about three years ago when videos of him freestyling in Thavhani Mall started to trend on social media, and ever since he has become the fans' favourite. The music video of his previous single, Mathuthu Banga, reached a million views on YouTube in only three months.

His main drive is to inspire and influence the youth of Africa and beyond in a positive way with lyrics rich in everyday life, struggles and challenges. His aspiration is to make a big mark in the music industry and become a household name.

He says he enjoys freestyling and remaking classic hip-hop, as well as new-age hip-hop songs by his favourite local and international idols. He uses online platforms, such as YouTube, as his mainstream go-to platform to distribute his music to a wider audience. In 2021, Rude Kid started a concept called "Freestyle Friday", where he consistently released a freestyle track every Friday. With this, his fanbase grew even more with a new audience every week.
