Rudzani Queen Bright, hailing from Vleifontein, is poised to represent South Africa with pride in Nigeria at the Miss Cultural Queen Africa crowning ceremony later this year. She will compete against delegates from 53 African countries, including Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Zambia, and Ghana.

Rudzani was crowned Miss Cultural Queen Africa South Africa in December of last year. The third-year BCom Accounting student at Univen expressed her readiness to make South Africa proud. "I feel extremely privileged to have been chosen to represent my beautiful country because it signifies that they recognised my potential to represent them effectively."

Her journey began in 2015 when she watched the Miss South Africa pageant, inspiring her to pursue a career in modelling. Although she procrastinated for some time, she finally decided to start participating in pageants in 2021. At the age of 21, she has already clinched more than six titles, including the second princess of the Miss University of Venda 2021 and the winner of Miss Makhado Royal 2022. "I maintain a positive attitude in everything I do, which makes it easier for me to tackle any task presented to me as a model," she explained.

Rudzani is a staunch advocate for the fight against gender-based violence and bullying, issues that she feels deeply passionate about. She grew up around individuals who were victims of this kind of abuse, and they could never speak out for fear of being judged. "This is why I use this platform to shine a light on these issues and be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. I aspire to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of modelling with my unique perspective," she said.
