Junior Marius from Mutale, Tshilamba, popularly known as Salvester47_SA, released his latest single, titled Letter to Queen-vee, on YouTube on Valentine's Day. The song was dedicated to his girlfriend, Sarah Mthetwa, and since its release on 14 February has received immensely positive reaction from his fans.
The 26-year-old Salvester47_SA began his music journey 16 years ago, inspired by American rappers such as Lil Wayne, Jay Z and Drake. His music not only appeals to his thousands of fans but is also recognised by music experts. He has been nominated for several awards thus far. He first gained recognition with the release of his track Feel my Beast Visuals in 2020. The song earned him the Song of the Year award at the MAMA provincial awards.
"It was my first song that really opened a few doors for me. It got a lot of air play on radio stations like UJ FM, Metro and Choice FM. I was also nominated at the Live Your Dream SA Awards (LYD) and the Golden Arts and Media Awards (GAMA)," he said.
His other projects include the #Kasi Born Gold Mixtape, Only 21 (EP), and Made in Africa (MP3). He is very proud of his latest offering. "My new song has a lovely message to the world. As human beings, we must respect each other's feelings and keep the vows we make for each other. The song is doing really well, and I am truly grateful for the love I'm still getting from my fans," he said.
The artist said his fans could expect more good music from him this year.
