Teams campaigning in the Sasol Women's League Limpopo Stream are bracing for another busy weekend of fixtures.
Fresh from their victory last Saturday, Tshandama Young Stars face a tough challenge this weekend when they host Sinthumulekutama FC at the Tshandama Grounds. Young Stars were far too strong for Univen FC, whom they thrashed 3-0.
Despite the home-ground advantage, Young Stars will have to raise their game significantly to hold Sinthumulekutama to a draw — let alone claim all three points. Sinthumulekutama have yet to drop a point this season, having won all five of their matches. They have netted 19 goals and conceded only two, showing strength in both attack and defence.
Univen FC will host Sealene Ladies at the Univen Stadium. Univen are still searching for their first league win of the season.
Masakona Liberty Experience will take on Lacoste Morning Stars at the Masakona Grounds. Morning Stars strengthened their promotional prospects last Sunday with a 1-0 victory over Real Mighty Ladies at the Shayandima School Grounds.
Sisters FC will enjoy home-ground advantage in their clash with Real Mighty Ladies at the Nwamitwa Grounds outside Tzaneen. Containing the likes of Katekani Chauke, Vinolia Mabasa and Sibongile Ngomani will be a tough task for the Sisters defence. Sisters have struggled to find form this season, managing just four points from five matches.
