Eethe Khaukanani was a marvel to watch when his team, Madridtas FC, brutally walloped Tswera Young Masters 8-0 in their MMK Administrators League match at the Tswera grounds on Sunday. Khaukanani scored seven of the eight goals.

Madridtas took the game to the home side from the first whistle, creating some dangerous moves from the middle of the park.

They threatened to score in the fourth minute when Khaukanani went loose from the centre of the pitch and shot wide, with the keeper already beaten. Khaukanani rectified his mistakes and found the net two minutes afterwards. The keeper of Masters, Roli Mmbengeni, mishandled the ball and Khaukanani won the loose ball and tapped it into the empty net.

The struggle continued, with Madridtas pressing hard in their search for more goals. Their efforts paid dividends when Khaukanani dribbled past two defenders before beating the keeper with a ground cutter. The visitors from Tshifudi were three goals up when the referee blew the half-time whistle. Rinae Malinda scored easily, following a square pass from Solomon Noko in the 38th minute.

Young Masters were out of touch throughout the last half. They were severely punished for that. Madridtas increased the margin in the 54th minute. Khaukanani was on target after beating the offside trap. Ndivhuwo Masakona of Madridtas was brought down within the box moments thereafter. It was a clear penalty for Madridtas.

Khaukanani scored from the white spot. Mashudu Nkhumeleni of Young Masters was given his marching orders for dangerous play in the 68th minute. Khaukanani scored two more goals in quick succession afterwards. The keeper of Young Masters, Roli Mmbengeni, was also given his marching orders for hitting Nkhumeleni of Madridtas with the fist in the 79th minute. Takalani Munzhelele took over as the keeper. Khaukanani scored the last goal two minutes before the final whistle.
