"Where you are accepted and welcomed by your people, one always feels relaxed and gives one's all," said gospel sensation Boitumelo Sejeng, better known as Tumo B, when announcing her forthcoming performances. Her national tour, dubbed "Uncapped Worship," will kick off at the Christ Worship House in Shayandima on 29 November.

According to Tumo B, it has been five full years since she last held an event in Venda. In addition to headlining the event, she will be joined by top gospel stars, including her mother, gospel icon Rejoice Mukumela, Thabelo Thavhanyedza, Wavhudi Madavha, Anointed Fhatu, and Takesure Zamar.

"I am coming back home and starting my journey of restoration into my season of rest in Venda. We will be united in worship, in one accord, as we remember the purpose of our creation—to impact nations," she said.

Tumo B further described herself as a brand that has stood the test of time.

"The brand Tumo B has made its strides and served different communities at large over the past 10 years. Whether through music or social entrepreneurship initiatives, the brand has earned great love in the hearts of supporters. Although challenges were encountered, the brand never stopped working and striving to make a difference," she said.

Although she is based in Pretoria, Venda is home to her as she was born there. "We are kicking off the Uncapped Worship national tour in 2024, and there is no better place to start than at home. We urge everyone to be part of this historic event, and we promise an electrifying night of worship. We will give it our all," Tumo B said.

The 39-year-old Tumo B was born in Nzhelele and released her first album in 2017. The album featured the likes of Taki Ndo and her mother, Mukumela. She scooped two awards, the SABC Crown Gospel Music Award and the INGOMA Award, in 2021.

She recorded a live project, which is currently in the rollout phase, with only one single titled Mishumo ya Yehova available to followers and supporters. The single has received a nomination for the Tshivenda Music Awards in 2024.
