Teams affiliated with the Safa Vhembe Football Association (MMK league) appeared before the association's disciplinary committee in Thohoyandou a fortnight ago to face several charges of misconduct.
The cases entail violent behaviour, failure to honour official matches, abandonment of matches and assaults on match officials.
Lambani Giant Killers failed to honour their league match against Valdezia Depotivo. Killers arrived after the scheduled starting time. They received a fine of R3 000 and also forfeit the league points to Depotivo.
Marandzhe Hungry Lions appeared before the DC to answer to a charge of causing an indirect abandonment of their league match against Themba Sunrise. They were fined an amount of R5 000 and forfeit league points to their opponents.
Mudziafera Blue Eagles were fined R3 000 for assaulting the assistant referee during their league match against Makovha All Stars. They forfeit the three league points to Stars. Blue Eagles have also been charged with failing to provide adequate security for the referee.
Lwathudwa appeared before the DC and were found guilty of assaulting a match official when they played against Bale United. They were fined R6 000 and forfeit the league points to Bale.
Nzhele All Nation were also fined R6 000 for assaulting a match official when they played against Rabali Pull Together. The DC awarded the league points to Rabali.
Lukau Hot Aces received a fine of R3 000 for the indirect abandonment of the match when they played against Tshandama Try Together. They forfeit three league points to their opponents.
