Struggle for promotion continues in MMK League

Most of the teams affiliated to the MMK Administrators Soccer League will be playing their 15th league match for the current season this weekend.

Most of the teams affiliated to the MMK Administrators Soccer League will be playing their 15th league match for the current season this weekend.

From the look of things, Stream A will be the first to produce a winner. United Artists are currently leading the pack in Stream A. Artists have deposited 40 points into their league account to date. Mapapila Blue Ribbon and SMSA FC are following in the second and third position with 29 and 28 points respectively.

Madridtas FC have reason to believe that they will represent Stream B in the promotional playoffs at the end of the season. Madridtas are shining on top of Stream B with 40 points accumulated from 14 matches, while the second-placed Musasenda Big Five are 10 points behind.

The struggle for promotion is among three teams, Ngwenani Young Chiefs, Ngovhela XI Experience and Mukula Jamaican Stars in Stream C. Young Chiefs are on top of the log with 34 points, while Experience and Jamaican Stars are tied on 29 points each.

Two teams, Muziafera Blue Eagles and Gwamasenga United Brothers, are fighting for the league title in Stream D. Blue Eagles are on top of the stream with 30 points, while United Brothers have 29. Stream E has a two-horse race as Makhitha Oscar Stars and Mpheni Home Defenders are closely contesting the league championship. Stars are on top of the log with 35 points, while Home Defenders have 31, but Home Defenders have two matches in hand.

The struggle for promotion is between Wayeni Sea Robbers and FC Mazhakandila in Stream F. Rabali Pull Together and Maelula United Brothers are the two contenders in Stream G.

The race for promotion is still wide open in Stream H. Four teams, Anel Real Vikings, Bale United, Musina United and Igwe FC, are poised to lift the trophy at the end of the season. Berea FC are the log leaders in Stream I, while Dipeni FC are in the second spot.
