Supersport did not lose their fighting spirit although two of their key players, Molefi Ntsoelengoe and Abram Raselemane were cautioned with yellow cards in the 6th and 10th minute respectively. The wheel of fortune turned against Dynamos in the 20th minute.
Their defender, Irvin Zwane deflected the ball back into his own net in a failed attempt to clear the ball after a corner kick that was taken by Themba Mnguni. The technical staff for Dynamos could not forgive him for the blunder he had committed and he gave way to Soul Mmethi.
The domestic lads effected another change towards the end of the first half. They introduced Joel Seroba for Frank Makua. Their last replacement was the bringing on of Sello Ledingwane for Sandras Kamwenda earlier in the last stanza.
Dynamos did not press the panic button despite the fact that their fans were becoming impatient. Their equalising goal came in the 85th minute. Their captain, Lifa Qosha, scored after a corner kick that was taken by Josam Ndou. They had very little time to celebrate their equalising goal as Supersport found the winning goal in the 90th minute via Mandla Zwane.
