The police in Musina are looking for the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of a man and a woman whose bodies were discovered in the bushes next to the Campbell road outside Musina at about 08:00 on the morning of Wednesday, 2 February.
The police received information about the discovery and rushed to the scene. One of the victims was lying on the ground next to the passenger door of a silver-grey Tata bakkie, while the other was leaning out of the driver's door. Both victims, identified as Meshack Ndou (44) and a woman only known as Anna, had bullet wounds.
Preliminary police investigations revealed that the victims might have been pursued by another vehicle, whose occupant(s) shot at them. Their vehicle apparently swerved into the bushes, went through a fence and came to a stop.
A case of two counts of murder has been opened. The motive for this killing has not been determined yet, as the police are still investigating the case.
