With most of the SAFA Vhembe Regional League teams left with fewer than 10 matches before the end of the season, the battle for promotion and to avoid relegation is intensifying every week.
Ntsemi FC and Magomani All Zones FC are locked in a two-horse race for the Stream A title with 62 and 58 points respectively.
Mahangala Young Stars, Makonde FC and Madridtas FC are the main title contenders in Stream B. Young Stars lead the pack with 69 points, while Makonde and Madridtas occupy second and third positions with 65 and 64 points respectively.
The race for honours in Stream C involves Saudi FC, Ngwenani Young Chiefs, Napoli FC and MCT Khalavha Napoli.
Ndiitwani Shooting Stars are shining at the top of Stream D with 70 points, followed by Shilumani Trading Academy and Vhembe Tron. Shilumani and Vhembe Tron are tied on 65 points each.
The four teams vying for promotion in Stream E are Ramantsha Blackpool, Makhitha Oscar Stars, Tshikhwani Stone Breakers and Mpheni Academy.
Mukondeni Royal and Mashamba Soccer Academy are locked in a neck-and-neck battle in Stream F with 59 points each. Chabani Shining Stars are in third place with 55 points, although Mukondeni Royal still have a match in hand.
Eagles United Stars are setting the pace in Stream G with 78 points, while Maelula United Brothers are close behind in second position with 76 points.
The race for promotion in Stream H is between Berea FC and Musina All Stars, who have collected 67 and 66 points respectively.
ABC FC have every reason to celebrate, although they still have 14 matches remaining. They are comfortably on top of Stream I with 83 points, while second-placed Makuya Big Cat have accumulated 64 points so far.
FC Basel are the leaders in Stream J with 71 points.
