After commencing their promotional play-off programme with a goalless draw against Stellenbosch FC at Thohoyandou last Saturday, Black Leopards must win their remaining two matches if they are serious about gaining promotion to the Absa Premiership Division.

Their second fixture was against Baroka FC, with whom they locked horns at the Polokwane's Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The result of the match was not yet available at the time of our going to press.

Their next fixture will be against Stellenbosch FC at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town next Wednesday, 14 June. While Lidoda Duvha will take a break this weekend, Baroka will host Stellenbosch FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

The only thing Black Leopards can do is to hope for Baroka and Stellenbosch FC to share the spoils tomorrow. The bad news about Stellenbosch FC is that their left back, Diego Brown, will watch their game against Baroka from the grandstand. Brown was given his marching orders in their game against Black Leopards last Saturday.

Should Baroka and Stellenbosch play to a draw tomorrow, it will be left to Black Leopards to win their remaining two matches and campaign in the elite league when the activities for the new season start in the second week of August. The Leopards' defenders, Jean Munganga, Thivhavhudzi Ndou and Marks Munyai, must keep a watchful eye on the Stellenbosch goal poachers, Mame Niang and Cleopas Dube, or else they will not know what will have eaten them at the end of the day.

On the other hand, the Leopards' strikers, Mwape Musonda, Ivan Mahangwahaya and Mziwokuthula Zimu, will give Stellenbosch a day to remember if they are not well contained.
