Louis Trichardt police have had their hands full this week with bodies literally turning up everywhere.
On Monday, police were called to the scene where a young boy had collapsed and died near the taxi rank in Kruger Street. According to local police spokespersons Capt. Maano Sadiki, the boy was travelling with his parents when he died. The family is apparently from Zimbabwe. The boy, it is said, had been sick for some time.
On Tuesday, local police had to fish the body of a man out of the dam opposite FireFly in Rissik Street. Capt Sadiki said the man had been reported missing last Thursday. At the time of going to press, the cause of the man's death could not be confirmed. Capt. Sadiki did, however, state that mystery surrounds the man's death.
Wednesday morning, police were yet again called out, this time after the body of another man was found along Unika Street opposite the fuel depot in the town's industrial area. Capt. Sadiki once again said that the man could have died of natural causes, as he had apparently been struggling with illness for some time.
Police investigations are continuing in all of the above cases.
