Tshifulanani Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity tomorrow afternoon for the ABC Motsepe League Vhembe derby between Joe Maweja and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM).
Both teams lost their matches against teams from Polokwane last week. Maweja failed to contain Polokwane United and lost 0-1. TTM gave away points to Polokwane Academy, who beat them 3-2 at the Polokwane Rugby Fields.
Should they fail to collect the maximum points tomorrow, TTM must forget about winning the league title. They are at present in the fourth position on the log with 31 points, 11 behind the pace setters, Bellevue Winners Park.
Maweja must win the match in order to enhance their chances of escaping relegation at the end of the season. Maweja are currently in the 12th spot on the 16-team league log. Maweja will pin their hopes on their vastly experienced players, Takalani Ramagalela, Khongotela Mahlaule and Mashudu Mukhari, while TTM's strikers, Rendani Dzivhani, Lufuno Mugodi and Khathutshelo "Adibayo" Mudau, will keep the defence of Maweja running for cover if not well planned for.
Madridtas FC, will host Gawula Classic at the Tshifudi Stadium. It will be time for Madridtas to restore their pride after dropping five points in their last two matches. Bellevue Winners Park will take on Boyne Young Tigers, while the Dolphins and Lephalale Young Killers will meet in Polokwane.
Polokwane Academy will take on Giyani Hotspurs at the Giyani Stadium. Hotspurs must win the match in order to restore their pride after losing 1-2 to Gawula Classic last weekend. Mighty FC will pay a visit to A1 Terrors in Modimolle. Molomole Academy will rub shoulders with Polokwane United.
