At just 19 years of age, Tondani Valentia Nemadevhele is already soaring as a finalist in the prestigious Miss Makhado Royal pageant. The pageant will take place on 18 April at Kone Village Lodge.
Originally from Lwamondo outside Thohoyandou, Tondani has moved to Johannesburg for her studies, balancing her ambition for education with her dreams about fashion and aviation. By entering the Miss Makhado Royal pageant, she aimed to showcase her talents, make a positive impact, and inspire others.
Tondani is a qualified cabin crew member who recently graduated from EPT Aviation School. Her love of travel and exploration led her to pursue a career in aviation, whereby she hopes to see the world, meet new people, and share her story.
As a dedicated model, Tondani boasts an impressive background, with more than 30 titles. She has captivated audiences on runway stages, showcasing top brands for stores such as Milady's. Unlike many models, Tondani works independently, unbound by an agency, and even wears her own designs. Inspired by her mother, a full-time fashion designer, Tondani inherited her creativity and eye for style, which she proudly displays through her unique fashion sense.
Beyond the runway, Tondani is a passionate feminist. She believes in promoting women's rights and ending gender discrimination, using her voice to support equality and empowerment. For her, Miss Makhado Royal is not just a title; it is an opportunity to further her advocacy and bring attention to the issues that matter to her.
One of Tondani's most touching projects is her annual winter blanket drive, where she collects and donates blankets to those in need. She feels strongly about giving back, understanding that true fulfilment comes from helping others.
