With most of the teams affiliated with the Safa Vhembe Regional League left with only one fixture to wrap up their league programmes, the majority have already started preparing for the regional promotional playoffs.
Langutani Blue Birds have concluded their league campaign with 54 points in Stream A1, three more than second-placed Merwe United. Blue Birds will face Magomani All Zones to determine which team will represent the stream in the regional playoffs. All Zones are the champions of Stream A2.
Malavuwe Great Movers are leading Stream B1 with 51 points. They are awaiting the winner of Stream B2, where the race is between Makonde FC and Musasenda Big Five.
After narrowly missing out on the title in the past two seasons, Ngwenani Young Chiefs have finally clinched the Stream C1 title. The Stream C2 title is still undecided, with Tshamutilikwa Fire Boys and FC Basel locked in a two-horse race on 73 and 67 points respectively.
Vhembe Tron FC are waiting to meet the winner of Stream D2 after being crowned champions of Stream D1 two weeks ago. Shayandima Dynamos look set to finish at the top of Stream D2. They currently lead with 49 points, one ahead of Univen FC. Dynamos still have two matches remaining, while Univen have only one fixture left.
Madombidzha Try Again have completed their league programme with 48 points in Stream E1. They will take on Ramantsha Blackpool in the stream promotional playoff.
Other teams currently topping their respective streams are: Mashamba Soccer Academy (F1), SM United Brothers (F2), Eagles United Stars (G1), Rabali Pull Together (G2), Muswodi Happy Fighters (H1), Berea FC (H2), Tshitavha Brave Lions (I1) and ABC FC (I2).
